Teaching Remotely

Register for Remote Teaching Training

The University of Chicago is moving to remote learning for undergraduate and graduate classroom instruction for the entire Spring Quarter 2020, beginning on Monday, April 6.

Instructors and Teaching Assistants for Spring Quarter can register for in-person or online training for either Canvas and Zoom or only Zoom below. Staff supporting faculty teaching for Spring Quarter can also register. If you are not teaching or supporting a Spring Quarter course, please use the video tutorials on the Web Conferencing website to learn about Zoom.

Remote Teaching Drop-In Sessions: During the early weeks of spring quarter, the Chicago Center for Teaching will host a series of drop-in conversations about teaching remotely. Come with questions, observations, and ideas prompted by your remote teaching experience. Sessions are organized by Division and School. To sign up, please visit the Chicago Center for Teaching site.
